The interactive slide presentation with my arguments against anthropowarmism has been updated and completed.

It contains:

  • my 10 argument summary slides;
  • supplemental information on radiative forcing explanations and calculation;
  • an analysis on CO2 being or not THE culprit, which it's far from being the case, and whose contribution to warming is, at most, weak.

In Switzerland, the federal Council (our government) follows a climatic policy that is in extreme compliance with the dogma established since more than thirty years: Humans are guilty of modifying the climate, they now have to change their behaviour to save the planet, here and now.

By its more than active participation to international institutions this official Switzerland positions itself as a champion of the rescue ordered by the climatic oracles.

As the reader of these lines will have understood I don’t support, in no way, this ill-founded, totalitarian, moralizing strategy that will have irreparably inequitable consequences for the development of the peoples on Earth.

Climate activism has no "raison d'être" anymore.
It's time to stop all of this, to send home all mobilized troops, and to let the soldiers dedicate themselves to more useful activities.
The appeal that I'm making here can be downloded and distributed as widely as possible:

The climate controversy [i] will only be resolved by time. And a lot of time, centuries, because validating a model or confirming a theory can only be done with the aid of experimental data, and we only have one single and slow laboratory in which only one unique experiment is running: the Earth [ii].

Positions are hardly reconcilable: on one hand there are the anthropowarmists, and on the other hand the climatosceptics. While there is no doubt about the reality of a warming over the last century and a half, what distinguishes these two groups is to attribute its cause either to CO2 emissions, or to other natural or artificial phenomena that remain poorly elucidated. Neither the ones nor the others know if an even stronger warming would have harmful or beneficial consequences for human life on earth; the firsts think in terms of catastrophe; the others know that they don’t know.

Fresh from the bakery: I prepared a condensed overview of my arguments on the climate issue.
May it help the reader to build up her or his opinon.
Short, it's risky! And it remains quite technical, it's not about feelings.

The issue will remain as long as activists are trying to take everybody hostage in order to "save the Planet" and want to impose upon us to "change our behaviour". This has to stop.
